It's a known issue that your playlists can easily be reported for fraud on Spotify, even if there's nothing legitimate in the request. Your playlists that have been reported will get the title, description and cover deleted until you update these fields again.
As a playlist curator, it could be vital for you and your business to keep your playlists available as much as possible to still be well-ranked on Spotify search. While you can still do the work manually to update your playlists once reported, a quick configuration can be done with Soundiiz to save you time and be sure your playlists are still available.
How to use Soundiiz to update your Spotify playlists automatically?
You can use the Soundiiz playlist synchronization feature to update your playlist title, description, and cover daily based on another playlist. Follow these steps:
- Create a "dummy" playlist with the correct title, description, and cover on Spotify with no tracks.
- On Soundiiz, create a Sync with this dummy playlist as the source and your "real" playlist as the destination.
- Set "Add tracks" as the synchronization method in the Sync configuration and scroll down to enable these options: "Keep title updated", "Keep description updated" and "Keep picture updated"
- Set the sync to run daily, and you're good!
The Sync will rewrite the title/description/cover once a day according to your "dummy" playlist to your "real" playlist. So, if your playlist has been reported and values erased, these fields will be automatically set again.
Just to let you know, you can also run the sync manually if you need it done more than once a day.
