How Long Does a Transfer Take?
Transfer times vary from seconds to several minutes. Here's what affects the duration.
Quick Reference
Good to Know
You can close your browser while a transfer is running. It continues on our servers and you'll receive an email when it's done.
What Affects Transfer Speed?
1. Number of Tracks
The more tracks you transfer, the longer it takes. Each track needs to be matched individually on the destination platform.
2. Platform API Limits
Music platforms limit how many requests can be made per minute. Soundiiz respects these limits to protect your account. Some platforms are faster than others.
3. Track Matching
Each track must be searched and matched on the destination. Obscure tracks or those with unusual metadata may take longer to find (or may not be found at all).
4. Server Load
During peak times, transfers may take slightly longer due to high demand.

Note on Amazon Music & YouTube Music
Amazon Music and YouTube Music have stricter API limits than other platforms. Transfers to or from these services may take significantly longer. This is a limitation imposed by Amazon and Google, not Soundiiz.
