After completing a transfer to TIDAL with Soundiiz, you might notice that your playlists or favorites don’t appear immediately in the TIDAL app.
Don’t worry — your data is there. This is usually caused by TIDAL’s app cache, which needs to refresh to display the latest changes.
Here’s how to fix it:
1. Check on TIDAL Web First
Go to listen.tidal.com and log in to confirm your playlists and favorites are there. If they show up on the web version, your transfer is complete.
2. Refresh the TIDAL Mobile App Cache
On your TIDAL app:
-
Go to My Collection
-
Try one of these quick actions to force a refresh:
-
Create a new playlist manually
-
Rename an existing playlist
-
Delete a playlist
-
Add any track to your favorites
-
After doing this, your transferred playlists and favorites should appear.
3. Still not updated? Try this:
-
Clear your TIDAL cookies in your browser
-
Log out of all TIDAL devices
-
Change your password (forces session refresh)
-
Log back in on TIDAL and reconnect to Soundiiz if needed
-
Retry the transfer only if data is missing on TIDAL Web
✅ Why does this happen?
TIDAL sometimes caches your library for performance reasons, so updates from external tools like Soundiiz can take a moment to appear. These steps help force the refresh.
