Apple has launched the 28th March 2023 a new dedicated streaming app named "Apple Music Classical".
This application is dedicated to the "classical" genre and is included in your Apple Music subscription. You can download Apple Music Classical directly on the Apple App Store.
Is Soundiiz compatible with Apple Music Classical?
Yes! Apple Music Classical is a "layout"; a specific "classical" view for your Apple Music Library. That means only tagged songs, artists, and albums "classical" will be displayed when you check your Apple Music library in Apple Music Classical.
Apple Music and Apple Music Classical share your same Apple Music Library. Just a different view of this library.
Some favorites and playlist tracks are missing in Apple Music Classical
If you have transferred playlists to Apple Music with Soundiiz; be aware that some songs (or albums, artists) are maybe not tagged as "classical" by Apple. And so these items will not be displayed on Apple Music Classical application.
Can I still see and listen to classical on Apple Music?
Yes, you can still access all the classical catalogs in the default Apple Music application; however, this is not true in the other way. You will only be able to access the classical catalog in the Apple Music Classical app, not the whole Apple Music catalog.
