What 3D Secure means
3D Secure, sometimes shown as 3DS or 3DS2, is an extra cardholder check performed by your bank during checkout. Stripe displays the bank's verification step for Soundiiz, but Soundiiz does not choose the phone number, send the code, or approve the payment.
Try these steps
-
Keep the Soundiiz checkout open
Complete the approval in the bank app, SMS page, or verification window, then return to the checkout tab. -
Check the card with its issuer
Ask whether online and recurring payments to an international merchant are allowed. Confirm that your current phone number is on file too. -
Use another available payment method
Try another card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay when the checkout offers it on your device.
After an unsuccessful attempt
A failed verification can still leave a temporary authorization on the card. That is not necessarily a completed charge and usually disappears according to the bank's own timing.
If money appears reserved, see what to do when a failed payment still appears on the card. If the payment completed but Soundiiz still shows Free, use the charged-but-Free checklist.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the code sent to a phone number I do not recognize?
The bank or card issuer controls that number. Contact it to update the cardholder contact information before trying again.
Can Soundiiz bypass 3D Secure?
No. When the issuer requires authentication, the payment cannot complete until the issuer approves it.
Why did the bank app approve it but Soundiiz still failed?
The checkout tab may have closed, timed out, or failed to receive the result. Check whether a charge completed before starting a new attempt.
