What can I store in Soundiiz?
When you run a transfer, you can select Soundiiz as the destination. This creates a copy of supported playlist and favorite metadata in your Soundiiz library, which can be useful as a backup or as an intermediate step between accounts.
Current Soundiiz library limits
The favorite limits are separate: you can store up to 20,000 favorite tracks, 20,000 favorite albums, and 20,000 favorite artists.
What should I do before reaching a limit?
-
Remove backups you no longer need
Use selection and filters in your Soundiiz library to delete obsolete or duplicate items. -
Split an oversized playlist
Keep each Soundiiz playlist below 20,000 tracks. The destination service may impose a lower limit. -
Keep an additional file export
For an offline metadata backup, follow How to Export Your Playlists and Favorites to a File.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these limits depend on my Soundiiz plan?
No. These are storage limits for a Soundiiz library. Transfer limits and access to paid features are separate from these totals.
Are the limits the same on every music service?
No. These numbers apply only when Soundiiz is the storage destination. See Maximum Playlist Size and Track Limits by Music Service for destination-specific limits.
Can I use Soundiiz to move content between two accounts on the same service?
Yes. Soundiiz can be used as an intermediate destination. Follow Transfer Playlists and Favorites Between Accounts on the Same Platform.
