How to Merge or Combine Playlists with Soundiiz

Quick answer

Soundiiz offers two ways to combine playlists:

  • Add to Playlist: copy the tracks from one playlist to the end of an existing playlist.
  • Join two Playlists: combine two selected playlists into a new playlist.

These playlist-management tools require a paid Soundiiz plan. The original source playlists are not deleted.

Open your playlists in Soundiiz

Add one playlist to an existing playlist

  1. Open Your Library and select Playlists.
  2. Find the playlist whose tracks you want to copy.
  3. Open its three-dot menu or contextual menu.
  4. Under Organize, select Add to Playlist.
  5. Choose the destination playlist.
  6. Review the track list and confirm.

The selected tracks are appended to the destination playlist. Tracks already present in the destination can remain as duplicates.

Create a new playlist by joining two playlists

  1. Open Your Library and select Playlists.
  2. Select the two playlists you want to combine.
  3. Open the contextual menu and choose Organize → Join two Playlists.
  4. Review the combined track list.
  5. Choose the destination service, playlist name and visibility.
  6. Confirm to create the new playlist.

If the destination is a different music service, Soundiiz matches each source track against the destination catalog. Some songs may be unavailable or may use different metadata.

Will combining playlists create duplicates?

It can. Combining playlists preserves the selected track lists, so the same recording may appear more than once in the result.

After the operation, you can use Remove Duplicate Songs on an editable destination playlist.

Why are some tracks missing from the combined playlist?

A destination service may not contain every recording, or it may impose a playlist-size limit. Review the operation results for unmatched tracks.
