Add to Playlist changes an existing destination playlist. Join two Playlists combines exactly two sources in a new playlist.
Which tool should I use?
Soundiiz offers two different ways to combine playlist tracks:
Add to Playlist appends the matched tracks from one playlist to the end of an existing playlist.
Join two Playlists reads exactly two playlists and creates a new combined playlist on the destination you choose.
Your source playlists stay unchanged. Add to Playlist does modify the destination playlist you select.

Append one playlist to an existing playlist

Open your playlists
Go to Your Library > Playlists and find the playlist whose tracks you want to copy. -
Choose Add to Playlist
Open the playlist menu, select Organize, then Add to Playlist. -
Select the destination
Choose the existing playlist that should receive the matched tracks. -
Review and confirm
Check the match results, then start the action. New matches are appended to the destination.
Create one new playlist from two playlists

Select exactly two playlists
Use the selection controls in your playlist library. -
Choose Join two Playlists
Open Organize, then select Join two Playlists. -
Set up the new playlist
Choose the destination service. Enter a title and description, then set visibility and any other available option. -
Review and create it
Soundiiz matches both tracklists to the destination catalog and creates the new playlist.
Duplicates and unavailable tracks
Combining playlists can keep repeated songs unless you enable an available duplicate-removal option. A song can also be skipped or matched to another release when catalogs differ.
Use Remove Duplicate Songs after combining, review wrong track matches, and check playlist size limits before appending to a large destination.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Join delete either original playlist?
No. It creates a new playlist from the two selected sources.
Does Add to Playlist create a new playlist?
No. It appends matched tracks to the existing destination playlist you select.
Can I join more than two playlists at once?
The Join two Playlists action accepts exactly two playlists. For more sources, repeat an append or join workflow carefully.
Why are some songs missing from the result?
The destination catalog may not contain the same release, or the playlist may have reached a service limit. Review the match results before relying on the combined playlist.
