YOUTUBE PLAYLIST ERRORS
Start with the message YouTube returned
A temporary request limit, a full playlist library, and a channel that cannot create playlists need different fixes.
Match the error to the next step
One Google account can contain several YouTube channels
The transfer goes to the channel connected to Soundiiz. Creating a playlist on another channel does not confirm that the connected one can do it.
Test the connected channel
-
Open YouTube or YouTube Music
Sign in with the same Google account used for the Soundiiz connection. -
Switch to the connected YouTube channel
Check the channel name carefully if the account contains a personal channel and one or more brand channels. -
Create a small private playlist manually
If YouTube rejects it, complete any account setup, validation, or required action shown there before returning to Soundiiz. -
Reconnect the service, then retry once
If manual creation works, disconnect and reconnect YouTube or YouTube Music in Soundiiz, then choose the intended Google account and channel.
For a connection that will not stay active, follow the guide to connecting music accounts to Soundiiz. If the playlist is created but some tracks are missing, use the failed conversion and Not found guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I keep retrying error 103?
No. It means YouTube is temporarily limiting requests. Wait before trying again so the restriction has time to clear.
Why can I create a playlist manually but Soundiiz still fails?
You may be testing a different YouTube channel, or the Soundiiz authorization may need to be refreshed. Check the channel first, then reconnect the service.
Does this apply to both YouTube and YouTube Music?
Yes. Both use the connected YouTube channel for playlist creation, even though Soundiiz treats their catalogs differently when matching tracks.
Manual playlist creation works, but the transfer still fails?
Send the transfer URL, the exact error, the destination service, and the YouTube channel name you tested.
