Choose the method that matches your export
Method 1: import a public Serato playlist URL
-
Publish the session with Serato Playlists
In Serato DJ, open History, select the session, choose the Serato Playlists format, and export it. Review the page on Serato.com and post it online. -
Copy the public playlist address
It normally starts with https://serato.com/playlists/. Soundiiz cannot read a private page. -
Import the URL in Soundiiz
Open Playlists, select Import playlist, choose the URL option, and paste the address. -
Review the tracklist and select a destination
Confirm the tracks Soundiiz recognized, then create the playlist on the service you want.
Serato documents the current publishing flow on its Serato Playlists support page.
Method 2: import a Serato playlist file
If you already exported an M3U or M3U8 file, open Playlists in Soundiiz, select Import playlist, choose the file option, and upload it. The file must be below 2 MB.
See every accepted format in the general Soundiiz import guide.
Why some DJ edits are not matched
Soundiiz searches the destination catalog by metadata. A remix, bootleg, mashup, private edit, or local recording may be absent or named differently there. Review the result before confirming, then use the matching troubleshooting guide when a catalog version exists but was not selected correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Serato playlist need to be public?
Yes for the URL method. Soundiiz must be able to open the page without signing in. A local playlist file can be imported instead.
Can Soundiiz transfer my audio files?
No. It reads the tracklist and searches for corresponding releases in the destination catalog. Your audio files stay on your device.
Why did only part of the playlist transfer?
Some tracks may have incomplete metadata or no equivalent in the destination service. This is common with private edits and remixes.
