Your current Soundiiz password is required
It protects every change to your sign-in details. If the account was created through Spotify, Apple, Google, or another service and has no Soundiiz password yet, create a Soundiiz password first.
Change your account details
-
Open Settings
Sign in to Soundiiz, open Settings, then select Account. -
Edit the field you need
Change the username or email address. Select Change my password if you also want to set a new password. -
Enter the current password
Use the current Soundiiz password in the same form to authorize the update. -
Select Save
Soundiiz validates the new values and identifies the field to correct if one is rejected.
What happens after each change
It must contain between 2 and 50 characters. Changing it does not change the email address used to sign in.
Soundiiz sends a confirmation message to the new address and signs you out. Open that message to confirm the address before signing in again.
The new password must contain at least 12 characters, including an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character. Saving it signs you out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Soundiiz ask for my current password?
It confirms that the signed-in person is authorized to change the account identifiers. A music-service password cannot replace the Soundiiz password here.
Why was I signed out after changing my email or password?
This is expected. Confirm a new email address from its message, then sign in with the updated details.
What if I no longer have access to the current email address?
If you can still sign in and know the current Soundiiz password, enter a new address in Settings. Otherwise, contact Support so account ownership can be checked.
