Soundiiz creates a separate version on the destination service. It does not delete your source playlists or remove your source favorites.

No. A Soundiiz transfer does not delete or modify the playlist or favorites you selected as the source. It reads their music information, finds matching items in the destination catalog, and creates the result on the destination service.

Your original playlists and favorite tracks remain in the source account, as do your favorite albums and artists. This is also true when a transfer is incomplete or some tracks cannot be matched.

Transfer means copy, not cut and paste

The source and destination remain independent. Deleting or editing the destination copy later will not change the original source playlist.

Are playlist Syncs safe for the source?

Yes. Every Soundiiz Sync also runs in one direction: from the chosen source playlist to the chosen destination playlist. Soundiiz reads the source and applies the selected update method only to the destination. Changes made on the destination are not written back to the source.

Can Soundiiz ever edit content on the source service?

The transfer itself does not. Other playlist-management actions are separate, so always check the selected service and playlist before running an editing or deletion action.
