Where each transfer lands
TIDAL keeps playlists, tracks, albums and artists in four separate tabs of My Collection. A transfer that looks lost is usually waiting in one you did not open.
Try these in order
-
Open the web player first
Go to listen.tidal.com and open My Collection there. If your music shows up on the web, the transfer worked and what is left is your app showing an old copy. -
Check that you signed in the same way on both sides
This one is specific to TIDAL. Signing in with Google when your real account uses an email and a password opens a second, empty account, and that is the one your transfer went to. Use the exact same method here and on TIDAL. -
Force the app to refresh
TIDAL keeps a local copy of your collection so it opens quickly, and that copy can lag behind. Create, rename or delete a playlist by hand, or add any track to your favorites, and it reloads. -
Sign out everywhere, then back in
When the app still lags after that, log out of every device from your TIDAL account settings and sign back in. It rebuilds the collection from scratch.
Frequently Asked Questions
I transferred my liked songs. Where is the playlist?
There is none. Favorite tracks land in My Collection, under Tracks. Sort them by the date they were added and your whole transfer sits at the top.
Everything shows on the web but my phone is empty.
Then the transfer is done and your app is holding an old copy of the collection. Add any track to your favorites by hand to wake it up, and sign out and back in if that is not enough.
My own TIDAL playlists are not listed on Soundiiz either.
That is the sign-in method again, and it has a page of its own. An account created through Google is a separate one, with nothing in it, and that is the account we end up reading.
Some tracks never arrived. Why those?
TIDAL has a different catalog in each country, and we can only add what exists in yours. A recording missing from your country's catalog cannot be added at all, even though it plays fine somewhere else.
