Why a second account appears
TIDAL treats each way of signing in as its own identity. Signing in with Google, with Apple, with Facebook or with an email and a password can each open a separate account, even when the address behind them is the same one.
So if your music lives in the account you created with a password, and you connect here with Google, TIDAL quietly makes that Google account and hands it over to us. It is real, it is yours, and it is empty.
Connecting the right one
-
Check how you sign in on TIDAL itself
Open listen.tidal.com, sign out, and look at the button you normally use to get back in. That is the method that holds your music. -
Disconnect TIDAL from Soundiiz
The empty account stays connected until you remove it, and it will keep coming back at every reload. -
Connect again with that exact method
Use the same button as on TIDAL, not the quickest one on the page. Your playlists appear as soon as the connection is made.
Frequently Asked Questions
Both accounts use my email. How can they be different?
Because TIDAL keys an account on the sign-in method, not on the address. Two doors, same name on the letterbox, two different flats.
Can the two accounts be merged?
Only TIDAL could do that, and it is worth asking them. From here, connecting the right one is enough to get your playlists back in front of you.
I connected the right way and the list is still empty.
Sign out of TIDAL in your browser first, then sign back in with the right method, then connect here. A session left open can hand over the other account again.
My playlists are listed, but a transfer to TIDAL seems missing.
That is the other way round, and it has its own page. TIDAL splits your collection into four tabs, and a transfer lands in whichever one matches what you moved.
