When the authorization window will not finish

Use this checklist if the Apple Music authorization window does not open, remains blank, or returns to Soundiiz without connecting your account.

Before connecting Apple Music

Use an Apple Account with an active Apple Music subscription.

Turn on Sync Library for that Apple Music account.

Use a regular browser window, not private or incognito browsing.

Allow pop-ups and cookies for Soundiiz and Apple during authorization.

You sign in on Apple's own window, never in a Soundiiz form, and what comes back to us is a permission you can withdraw at any time. Two-factor accounts go through the same way, since Apple handles that step itself.

Try these connection steps

Sign in to Apple Music on the web with the Apple Account you want to connect.
Open the Soundiiz web app in the same browser.
Select Apple Music and start the connection again.
If it still fails, temporarily disable browser content blockers or try another current browser.

What the page tells you

The connection page says where it stopped, and each message has one way out.

What you see	What to do
Unable to load the Apple Music module	Something on your side is blocking Apple's sign-in from loading, usually a content blocker or a company network. Turn it off for this page and reload.
Waiting for Apple Music authorization	Apple's own window is waiting for you. Finish signing in there, and this page picks up on its own.
The authorization did not complete	Start again. If the button now reads Reload the page, reload first: clicking it a second time will not restart anything.

From the mobile app

Apple asks for its own browser here, so the app hands the connection over to yours and comes back once it is done. Seeing your default browser open is the normal path, not a failure.

If authorization works in a browser but fails inside the Android app, connect Apple Music from the Soundiiz web app first. The connected account will then be available in Soundiiz.

A free Apple Account is not enough

Apple only opens a music library to a paying subscriber, so the connection can go through and still show you nothing. If your subscription lapsed, renewing it is what brings the library back.

If Apple rejects the authorization itself, check the Apple Account with Apple Support.

Frequently Asked Questions

The button opened a window that closed straight away. What now?

That is a pop-up being turned away by the browser. Allow pop-ups for Soundiiz, then start the connection again. A private window blocks the same step for the same reason.

I am already signed in to Apple Music, so why ask again?

Being signed in to Apple Music is not the same as granting Soundiiz permission to reach your library. Apple asks you to confirm that permission once, on its own window, and it is that confirmation the page is waiting for.

Which Apple Account gets connected?

The one already signed in on that browser, which is why signing in to Apple Music on the web first settles the question. If your household shares a device, check whose account is in place before you authorize.

I signed in to Soundiiz with Apple. Is that the same connection?

No, and it is an easy pair to mix up. Signing in with Apple is how you get into Soundiiz itself, while connecting Apple Music is how Soundiiz reaches your library. One works perfectly well without the other. If it is Soundiiz you cannot get into, finding your Soundiiz account is the page you want.

Will I have to do this again later?

Only if the connection is dropped, which happens when you disconnect Apple Music from Soundiiz, or when Apple withdraws the permission. Everyday transfers do not ask for it again.
