Before you connect
You need:
Connect Subsonic or Navidrome
-
Choose the connector
In Soundiiz, select Navidrome for a Navidrome server or Subsonic for another compatible implementation. -
Enter your server account
Use the username and password that work directly on that music server. -
Enter the public server address
For example, use https://music.example.com. Include a non-standard port or configured base path when your server requires one. -
Select Connect
Once the connection succeeds, the server appears with your other connected music services.
Which connector should you use?
Soundiiz communicates using version 1.16.1 of the Subsonic interface. Compatibility still depends on which features each server implements, so a successful connection does not guarantee that every optional library action is available.
What can Soundiiz manage?
Explore the available transfer routes and tutorials on the Subsonic and Navidrome service pages.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Soundiiz say “Invalid credentials” when my password is correct?
The same message can appear when Soundiiz cannot reach the server or when a proxy blocks the connection. Test the public address outside your local network, then check your proxy or firewall logs, including Cloudflare.
Can I use a local IP address or Tailscale address?
No. Those addresses are available only inside your own network. Soundiiz needs a secure public address that reaches the server from the internet.
Can I connect two self-hosted servers?
You can use the Navidrome connector for one Navidrome server and the Subsonic connector for another compatible server. Each connector keeps its own connected account.
How many tracks can one playlist contain?
Soundiiz currently applies a limit of 10,000 tracks to Subsonic and Navidrome playlists. See the current playlist limits by music service.
