Where each transfer lands
Amazon Music spreads your library across separate places, and a transfer follows that same split. Most of the time, what looks lost is simply in the one you have not opened.
Try these in order
-
Open the web player first
Go to music.amazon.com and open your library there. If your music shows up on the web, the transfer worked and your phone is showing an old copy. -
Check that both sides use the same account
Amazon accounts multiply easily, one per household member or per country. Create a playlist named test on the web player, reload Soundiiz, and if it does not appear you are on two different accounts. -
Force the app to refresh
The mobile app keeps a local copy of your library so it opens quickly, and that copy can lag behind. Restart your device, or sign out of the app and back in. -
Clear the app cache, then reinstall
Emptying the cache from the app settings is enough most of the time. When it is not, uninstalling and reinstalling rebuilds the library from your account, and nothing is lost by doing it.
Frequently Asked Questions
I transferred my liked songs and my library looks unchanged.
Open the My Likes playlist instead. That is where Amazon collects every song you like, and a transfer of favorite tracks fills it rather than your albums or your songs list.
Everything shows on the web but my phone is empty.
Then the transfer is done and the app is holding an old copy. Sign out and back in, and clear the cache from the app settings if that is not enough.
My own Amazon playlists are not listed on Soundiiz either.
That is a different setting, and it has a page of its own. Amazon keeps playlists closed to outside apps until you share one, which unlocks the rest.
Some tracks never arrived. Why those?
Amazon has a different catalog in each country and in each tier. A recording missing from yours cannot be added at all, even though it plays fine on another account.
