AMAZON MUSIC
One playlist to share, and the rest follows
Amazon keeps playlists closed to outside apps until you open the door once. It takes about thirty seconds, and it only has to be done a single time.
Nothing is wrong with your account
An Amazon Music account starts with its playlists closed to every outside app, ours included. Your music is intact and your subscription is fine, we simply have nothing to read yet.
Opening the door
-
Open any one of your playlists in Amazon Music
Any playlist you created will do, on the web player or in the app. It does not matter which, and you will not have to repeat this for the others. -
Set it to public, or share it
Edit the playlist and make it public, or use the share option. Amazon then asks whether you want to change your account privacy setting, and that question is the whole point of the exercise. -
Confirm it
Saying yes is what changes the account setting. Turning it down leaves everything as it was, and we still see nothing. -
Reload Soundiiz
Refresh the page and your Amazon Music playlists appear in the list, all of them, not just the one you shared.
Setting the playlist back to private closes it again
The account setting is what matters, not the playlist. Leave that one shared while you work with us, and put it back afterwards if you would rather.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this make all my playlists public?
No. Only the one you shared changes, the others stay as they were. What the confirmation opens is your account to connected apps, not your library to the world.
I shared one and Soundiiz still shows nothing.
Check that the confirmation popup was accepted rather than dismissed, since that is the step that counts. Then disconnect Amazon Music here and connect it again.
My favorites are missing too. Same fix?
Usually yes, the same confirmation opens them. If your liked songs are still absent afterwards, they may be somewhere you have not looked, and our page on transferred music you cannot see in Amazon Music maps where each kind of content lands.
Will I have to do this again later?
Not as long as the setting stays on. It is tied to your Amazon account rather than to a session, so reconnecting later works without repeating any of it.
Shared a playlist and still nothing listed?
Tell us roughly how many playlists you have in Amazon Music and whether the confirmation popup appeared. Those two answers point us straight at the cause.
