Why the source may be unavailable
What to do
-
Open the source on the original music service
Use the same account, profile, or channel connected to Soundiiz and confirm that the exact item still opens there. -
Copy the full share URL again
For a URL import or Playlist URL source, copy the official share link for the exact playlist or item instead of a search result, profile page, or shortened fragment. -
Refresh the Soundiiz connection
Reload the service. If the wrong account is connected or the item remains absent, disconnect and reconnect the intended account. -
Retry the action once
A temporary provider response may clear. If the same source still returns Error 301, repeated retries will not make a private, deleted, or API-restricted item available.
A special case: playlists made by Spotify
Spotify does not allow Soundiiz to export, transfer, or back up playlists owned and created by Spotify. This includes editorial and personalized Spotify playlists, even when they are visible in your account.
Read why playlists made by Spotify cannot be transferred. If the source loads correctly but individual tracks fail to match, use the Conversion Fail and Not found guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Error 301 mean that every track is missing?
No. Error 301 means the selected source itself could not be retrieved. Track matching happens only after Soundiiz can load that source.
Why does the source open in my browser but not in Soundiiz?
Your browser may be signed in to another account, or the music service may show an item on its website that it does not expose to third-party apps. Check the connected account first.
Can a different Soundiiz plan unlock the source?
No. Upgrading does not make a deleted, private, inaccessible, or provider-restricted source available.
