Here is what the Pass covers, how to redeem it, and the three things that stop it from activating.

What the Pass unlocks

Qobuz gives its subscribers a code that turns on the paid features of Soundiiz for free: whole libraries in one go, playlists past the free limit, and batches instead of one transfer at a time.

It applies to what you send to Qobuz. Moving your music from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, Deezer or a file into Qobuz is what the Pass is for, and every source we support is fair game.

Qobuz has to be the destination

Send music the other way, or to any other service, and you are back to the limits of a free account. On screen it reads Your unlocked Premium functionalities are only for Qobuz as the destination.

Redeeming your code

Enter the code
On the redeem page, type the code Qobuz sent you. Case does not matter.
Link your Qobuz account
If it is not connected yet, we ask for it right there, with a Qobuz needs to be connected screen. The Pass belongs to your Qobuz account, so this step is what ties the two together.
Sign in to Soundiiz the way you always do
If your Soundiiz account already exists, use the sign-in method you created it with. Signing in with Qobuz on an account that was opened with Google or an email address opens a second, empty account instead.

If the activation is refused

Three messages can come back, and each one points somewhere different.

What you see	What it means
You already have an active subscription	Your Soundiiz account is already on a paid plan, and a Pass cannot sit on top of one. The next section is for you.
You have already activated this voucher code	This Qobuz account has redeemed its Pass before. A new code will not change that, since the Pass follows the Qobuz account rather than the code.
This Soundiiz account is already using another sign-in method	Your Soundiiz account was opened another way. Sign out, then come back with your original method, which our guide to finding your account helps you identify.

You paid for Soundiiz before you heard about the Pass

This is the most common reason a Pass will not go through, and it is a fair complaint: many people subscribe to Soundiiz first and discover the Qobuz offer afterwards.

A Pass only lands on an account with no plan running. So either cancel your subscription and redeem the code once the period you paid for has run out, or write to us with the date of your payment and we will look at it with you.

The Pass itself never takes a payment

Qobuz covers it, we ask you for no card, and nothing is billed while it runs. Any charge you see comes from a Soundiiz plan you took separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Pass is ready, so why is a feature still locked?

Look at where that transfer was heading. The Pass opens the paid features for Qobuz as the destination, and one aimed anywhere else runs under free account rules.

Can I move the Pass to another Soundiiz account?

Not on your own, because it is attached to the Qobuz account that redeemed it. If you ended up with two Soundiiz accounts and the Pass is on the wrong one, tell us both addresses.

What happens when the Pass runs out?

Your account goes back to Free, with nothing to cancel and nothing charged. What you already transferred stays where you put it, on Qobuz and everywhere else.

Can I subscribe while my Pass is still running?

Yes. Taking a paid plan replaces the Pass straight away, and that is the route if you need the paid features for services other than Qobuz.

Code still refused?

Send us the code, the email address on your Qobuz account, and the message you saw. That is enough for us to tell you where it went wrong.
