What error 304 means
Soundiiz started the transfer, but the destination playlist could not be created in Amazon Music. This usually points to the connected Amazon account, an action unavailable for its current Amazon Music tier, an account limit, or a temporary Amazon Music error.
Check these points
-
Open Amazon Music with the same account
Go to music.amazon.com, confirm that the music profile is complete, and create a small test playlist there. -
Reconnect Amazon Music
Disconnect the service from Soundiiz, connect it again, and make sure the expected Amazon account is selected. -
Check the Amazon Music tier
Amazon may refuse a write action that is unavailable for the account's current Free, Prime, or Unlimited tier. -
Keep each destination below its limit
Soundiiz applies a 2,500-track limit per Amazon Music playlist. A one-time transfer can create numbered playlist parts when needed. -
Retry a temporary Amazon Music error
Wait and retry later if a small test playlist also fails after reconnecting. Temporary errors are resolved on the Amazon Music side.
See Maximum Playlist Size and Track Limits by Music Service. If the transfer finished but the playlist or tracks are not visible, use Can't see my transferred music in Amazon Music.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does error 304 mean the tracks were not matched?
No. Error 304 happens when the destination playlist itself could not be created. Track matching is a later step.
Can Soundiiz bypass an Amazon Music tier restriction?
No. Amazon Music decides which library and playlist actions are available to each account tier.
Why is the Amazon Music playlist empty?
Open the transfer result first. An empty destination can mean that no tracks were matched or accepted, while a completed transfer that is only missing from the app may be an Amazon Music display delay.
