SOUNDCLOUD
Know the 500-track boundary
Large SoundCloud transfers are divided into playlist parts, while unmatched or unavailable tracks remain in the transfer report.
SoundCloud playlist limit
Soundiiz applies a limit of 500 unique tracks per SoundCloud playlist. During a one-time transfer, a larger source is divided into additional SoundCloud playlists named with _part2, _part3, and so on.
A Sync cannot create extra destination parts
Keep a SoundCloud destination used by a Sync below 500 tracks, or split the source and create a separate Sync for each destination playlist.
For the limits applied to every destination, see Maximum Playlist Size and Track Limits by Music Service.
When fewer tracks arrive than expected
-
Open the completed transfer result
Review the tracks marked Not found. They could not be matched to an available SoundCloud track. -
Look for every playlist part
A source over 500 unique tracks does not stay in one SoundCloud playlist. Check the numbered _part playlists. -
Check SoundCloud on the web
Confirm the destination while signed in to the same SoundCloud account connected to Soundiiz. -
Retry a temporary failure
Reconnect SoundCloud and retry later when playlist creation or updates fail even with a small playlist.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why did Soundiiz create several SoundCloud playlists?
The source contained more than 500 unique tracks. Soundiiz created numbered parts so the matched tracks could continue into another playlist.
Why is the final track count lower than the source?
Duplicate SoundCloud track IDs are added once, and tracks that were not matched or are not playable on SoundCloud cannot be added. The transfer result separates those cases.
Can I keep more than 500 tracks in one SoundCloud Sync destination?
No. Split the source into smaller playlists and use a separate SoundCloud destination for each one.
