Save the playlist export from your music app, then import it into Soundiiz and choose a destination such as Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music.
You can use a playlist file even when your source app has no account connection in Soundiiz. Soundiiz reads the song list and searches for matching recordings in your destination service.
Which export should I choose?
Export a single playlist from your source app and keep the original file. The supported playlist exports below use the same import flow.
Use the app's playlist export rather than a full backup of its settings, database or downloaded audio. Keep CSV column headers unchanged. Renaming a file extension does not convert the file.
For Youtify, use the playlist JSON export. A similarly named app or a full-library backup may use a different format.
Import the file into Soundiiz
- Export the playlist from the source app and save the file somewhere you can access, such as Files on your phone or a folder on your computer.
- Sign in to Soundiiz and open Playlists.
- Select Import Playlist, choose From File, and select your export. Import one file at a time, up to 2 MB per file.
- Review the song titles, artists and track count. This checks what Soundiiz read from the file; the destination matches are determined during the transfer.
- Choose to create a new playlist, give it a name, and select your connected destination service. Continue the transfer and check the result when it finishes.
Available actions depend on your Soundiiz plan and destination service. See Free plan limits for details.
Favorites and local songs
If your source app can export favorites as a playlist or a song list in one of these formats, you can import that list as a playlist. Liked status is not automatically copied from the source app.
Soundiiz transfers the list of songs. It does not upload audio files from your device. A local song can only be added when a matching recording is available in the destination catalog.
If the import does not work
- The file is rejected: try a fresh single-playlist export in the format listed above. A JSON or CSV file from a different export option may have a different structure.
- The export is too large: export smaller playlists and import them separately. Large compressed exports can also exceed the import limits after they are read.
- Some songs are missing or incorrect: compare the imported list with the source first, then check the transfer result. Deleted entries, missing metadata and differences between music catalogs can affect the result.
If you still need help, contact support with the app name and version, the error message and a short export sample. Include the column headers for a CSV.
