Frequently Asked Questions
Which Spotify playlists can't I transfer?
The restriction applies to every playlist owned by Spotify. This includes Spotify editorial playlists; Made for You playlists such as Daily Mixes, Spotify Mixes, Discover Weekly, Release Radar, On Repeat, Repeat Rewind, and Daylist; and Wrapped or yearly recap playlists such as Your Top Songs.
Public playlists created by other Spotify users are not covered by this restriction.
Why can't Soundiiz transfer them?
Spotify's Developer Policy permits third-party services to transfer a user's personal data or the metadata of that user's playlists. Playlists owned by Spotify fall outside that permission.
Soundiiz must follow this policy so Spotify can remain available on Soundiiz. This is why Spotify-owned playlists cannot be used as transfer sources or exported as backup files.
How can I transfer the songs instead?
