Choose the path that matches your goal
The word “upload” can mean two different things:
Import a playlist or tracklist with Soundiiz
-
Prepare the list
Use a supported playlist URL, CSV file, or plain-text list with recognizable artist and title information. -
Import it into Soundiiz
Follow the supported CSV format or use the current Import Playlist flow. -
Choose a destination
Soundiiz searches the destination catalog and creates a playlist from the tracks it can match. -
Review unmatched songs
A list entry cannot become a new store release; it must already exist in that destination catalog.
Release your own recordings
If you own or represent a recording, you normally work with a music distributor accepted by the destination services. The distributor collects the audio master and cover artwork. It handles credits and identifiers, then applies the territory and release-date settings before delivering the release. Reporting or royalties follow the distributor’s terms.
After the release is live in the destination catalogs, Soundiiz can match it during supported playlist and favorites transfers. It cannot create the catalog release itself.
If your goal is to export an audio file from a streaming service, read How to download or export audio files Soundiiz can export playlist data, not streamed music.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Soundiiz upload an MP3 or WAV to Spotify?
No. Soundiiz never uploads or distributes audio masters to a music service.
Does importing a CSV upload songs?
It uploads a list of metadata to Soundiiz for matching. It does not upload audio or create new releases in a store catalog.
Why was my own song not found?
The release may not yet be available in that destination, or its catalog metadata may differ. Confirm the live release first, then retry the match.
Can Soundiiz recommend a distributor?
Choose from the distributors accepted by the services where you want to release music. Compare pricing and rights terms first, then review reporting and support separately.
