Method 1: Use My Shazam Tracks
This is usually the easiest method when Shazam offers Apple Music or Spotify synchronization on your device and in your region.
-
Open Shazam Settings
Connect Apple Music or Spotify and enable the option to sync your Shazam library. -
Wait for My Shazam Tracks
Shazam creates or updates this playlist in the selected music service. Apple Music and Spotify cannot both receive the synchronized playlist at the same time. -
Connect that service to Soundiiz
Open Playlists and select My Shazam Tracks. -
Transfer the playlist
Choose the destination, review the matched tracks, and complete the transfer.
See Apple's current Shazam synchronization instructions.
For destination-specific steps, see the Shazam to Spotify tutorial or the Shazam to Apple Music tutorial.
Method 2: Import the Shazam data CSV
-
Request your Shazam data
Open the official Shazam data download page, sign in, and request the archive. -
Keep the Shazam CSV unchanged
Extract the CSV containing the identified songs. Do not remove or rename its header rows before uploading it. -
Import the file in Soundiiz
Open Playlists, select Import Playlist, choose From File, then upload the CSV. -
Review and choose the destination
Confirm the imported songs, review the matches, and create the playlist on the destination service.
Order, future Shazams, and audio files
When you transfer a synchronized My Shazam Tracks playlist, Soundiiz reads its default playlist order. A view sorted by “date added” in Apple Music is not an order that music-service APIs let Soundiiz reproduce on another service.
To copy future additions automatically, keep My Shazam Tracks enabled and use that playlist as the source of a Soundiiz Sync.
Neither method downloads music. Soundiiz transfers song information and matches it against the destination catalog.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect Shazam directly to Soundiiz?
No. Use the My Shazam Tracks playlist in Apple Music or Spotify, or import the official Shazam CSV file.
Why did Soundiiz process fewer rows than the Shazam CSV contains?
The Shazam history can contain repeated identifications of the same song. Soundiiz avoids creating duplicate playlist tracks, then reports any remaining songs it could not match.
Can Soundiiz recover a Shazam file or download the songs?
No. Shazam provides the data archive, and Soundiiz imports its song information. Problems receiving the archive or confirmation email must be handled by Shazam.
