IHEARTRADIO DESTINATION
Why playlist creation can be rejected
Check the iHeartRadio plan, account access, and playlist permissions before retrying the transfer.
The rejection comes from iHeartRadio
Soundiiz can create and fill an iHeartRadio playlist only when the connected iHeartRadio account allows those actions.
Check the account before retrying
-
Open iHeartRadio directly
Confirm that the same account can create a playlist and add tracks on iHeartRadio. -
Check the plan's playlist permissions
iHeartRadio changes which playlist actions are available across its free and paid plans. The account must allow the actions required by the transfer. -
Reconnect iHeartRadio in Soundiiz
Disconnect and reconnect the platform if the subscription or account permissions changed after the first connection. -
Retry with a new playlist
Use a distinct playlist name and confirm that the new playlist appears in iHeartRadio after the transfer.
Do not rely on the old estimated limit
Current iHeartRadio documentation does not state that old playlist limit. Check the account's current playlist permissions instead.
If the playlist is created but some tracks are missing or different, see Wrong Track Matches: Causes & How to Fix Them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Soundiiz require iHeartRadio All Access?
Soundiiz requires an iHeartRadio account that can create and edit the destination playlist. Check the current permissions of your iHeartRadio plan directly in iHeartRadio.
Is there a 50-playlist limit?
Current iHeartRadio help pages do not document that old estimated limit. Use the permissions and limits shown by iHeartRadio for your account.
Why does the transfer still fail after reconnecting?
Try creating and filling a playlist directly in iHeartRadio. If that works, send Soundiiz Support the transfer link and the exact error.
iHeartRadio works, but the transfer does not?
Send the transfer URL, the error, and the iHeartRadio plan shown on the connected account.
