Why the final playlist can contain fewer tracks
Catalog matches, repeated songs, and SoundCloud's 500-track playlist limit can each change the final count.
“Found” and “added” are not the same count
Soundiiz first finds a corresponding SoundCloud track. SoundCloud then decides what its playlist can contain, so the number added can be lower.
Why tracks can be missing
No matching SoundCloud track: Soundiiz searches SoundCloud's catalog by metadata. It cannot upload the source audio when that recording is unavailable.
Duplicate occurrences: when the source contains the same track more than once, only one occurrence can remain in the SoundCloud playlist.
Regional or metadata differences: a track can be restricted in your country or listed as a remix, edit, or another release.
Review the matches before confirming. If a song is present on SoundCloud under a different version or title, replace the proposed result with the correct track when the review screen offers that choice.
The 500-track playlist limit
A SoundCloud playlist can contain up to 500 tracks. During a one-time playlist transfer, Soundiiz can split a larger source into several destination playlists, each holding up to 500 tracks.
A Sync still targets one playlist
A SoundCloud Sync does not create a new chain of part playlists as the source grows. Keep the destination under 500 tracks or split the source into separate Syncs.
