Why does Soundiiz create this view?
Some music services expose useful account data that is not a normal playlist. Soundiiz groups that data into a generated playlist so the tracks can be viewed together and, when supported, used as the source of a transfer or Sync.
What can and can’t be changed?
A generated playlist is read-only. You cannot rename it, delete it, change its picture, reorder it, or add and remove tracks directly. Those changes would have nowhere to be saved as a normal playlist on the connected service.
With Premium, you can use an eligible generated playlist as the source of a transfer, Clone, or playlist Sync. The destination is a normal playlist that the connected destination account can edit.
How is it refreshed?
-
Update the source service first
Make sure the liked tracks, play history, or other source data is current there. -
Reload Soundiiz
Refresh the page or reconnect the service if the generated view still shows old data. -
Allow for provider delay
Some services update listening history or calculated lists later than the action that created the data.
For recurring copies, review the one-way source-to-destination rules in How Soundiiz Playlist Sync Works.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Sync generated Liked Songs directly into destination favorites?
No. Sync works between playlists. Use the generated list as the source and select a normal destination playlist.
Why can’t I edit a generated playlist?
It is a read-only view assembled by Soundiiz, not a normal playlist stored on the connected service.
Does this include every playlist a service recommends to me?
No. Soundiiz can display only content made available through the service connection and allowed by that provider’s API rules.
