Transfer Playlists and Favorites Between Accounts on the Same Platform

Move playlists or supported favorites between two accounts on the same music service.

How does a transfer between two accounts work?

Soundiiz can connect only one account from the same music service at a time. To copy data between two accounts, use your Soundiiz library as a temporary bridge.

Playlists are not required
You can select only Tracks to copy liked or favorite tracks. Soundiiz will add the matched tracks to the destination account's favorites without creating or transferring a playlist.

Use Soundiiz as a temporary bridge

  1. Connect the source account
    Connect the account that currently contains the data you want to copy.
  2. Start a transfer to Soundiiz
    Select the connected music service as the source and Soundiiz as the destination.
  3. Select only the categories you want
    Choose Playlists, Tracks, Albums, or Artists. You do not need to select every category.
  4. Complete the first transfer
    The matched data is now temporarily available in your Soundiiz library.
  5. Connect the destination account
    Disconnect the source account, then connect the other account from the same music service.
  6. Start a transfer from Soundiiz
    Select Soundiiz as the source and the connected music service as the destination.
  7. Select the same categories again
    For example, select only Tracks again if you want to copy only liked or favorite tracks.
  8. Review the transfer results
    Check whether any items could not be matched or added by the destination service.

Which category should I select?

Playlists Your playlists and their matched tracks
Tracks Liked or favorite tracks, added to the destination favorites
Albums Liked or favorite albums, when supported
Artists Followed or favorite artists, when supported
Before you start
Favorites management requires a Premium or Creator plan. Available categories depend on what the music service allows Soundiiz to read and add. A transfer copies matched items and does not remove them from the source account.

Use a CSV file instead

You can also export data from the source account, connect the destination account, and import the corresponding CSV file. Use Import Tracks, Import Albums, or Import Artists for favorites. Use Import Playlist only when you want to create a playlist. See the required CSV format.
