Where each transfer lands
Apple Music stores playlists, songs, albums and artists in four separate spots. A transfer that looks lost is almost always sitting in one you did not open.
Turn on Sync Library
Apple Music only carries your library from one device to another when Sync Library is on. With it off, everything we added lives in your account and your iPhone or your Mac shows an empty library, which reads exactly like a failed transfer.
On an iPhone or an iPad, open your device settings, find Music, and turn Sync Library on. On a Mac, it sits in Music, then Settings, then General. If it is already on, turn it off and back on: that alone pulls the library down again.
Still nothing? Try these in order
-
Open the web player first
Go to music.apple.com and look there. If your music shows up on the web, the transfer worked and what is left is a display problem on your device, not a missing transfer. -
Check that both sides use the same account
Create a playlist named test on the web player, then reload Soundiiz. If it does not appear in your list, you are connected to two different Apple accounts, and your transfer went to the other one. -
Force the app to refresh
The app keeps a local copy of your library to open quickly, and that copy can lag behind. Create, rename or delete a playlist by hand, or sign out and back in, and it reloads. -
Give the cloud a few hours
Apple can take up to 24 hours to push a change from the web to your other devices. Seeing it on the web and not on your phone is normal for a while.
Frequently Asked Questions
I transferred my liked songs. Where is the playlist?
There is none, and there never was. Favorite tracks go into your library, so open Library and then Songs. Sort by the date they were added and the whole transfer appears at the top.
Everything shows on the web but my iPhone is empty.
That is Sync Library being off, or the app holding an old copy. Turn Sync Library on in your device settings, then sign out of Apple Music and back in.
Some albums or artists never arrived. Why those?
Apple Music has a different catalog in each country, and we can only add what exists in yours. A release missing from your country's catalog cannot be added at all, even though it plays fine somewhere else.
Can Soundiiz remove what it just added?
No. Apple Music does not allow outside apps to delete a playlist or take a favorite back, so that has to be done in the Apple Music app. Everything else we can still do for you.
