Only one account from each music service can be connected to Soundiiz at any given time. For example, two Spotify accounts cannot remain connected simultaneously.
To use another account from the same service, disconnect the current one and then connect the other account.
Switch to another account
-
Finish your current transfers
Complete the transfers you need with the account that is currently connected. -
Disconnect the music service
Open Settings > Platforms in Soundiiz and disconnect the current account. -
Sign in to the other account
If the music service selects the wrong account automatically, sign out of that service first. -
Connect the service again
Return to Soundiiz and confirm that the correct account appears.
For the complete workflow, see how to transfer playlists and favorites between accounts on the same platform. If you only need help with authorization, follow the music account connection guide.
Keep your Soundiiz account personal
Your Soundiiz account is for personal use and should not be shared. The six-account allowance is intended to help you move the members of your own family plan. If you manage music accounts for clients, a team, or an organization, or need a different setup, contact us before connecting more accounts.
Frequently asked questions
Can I keep two Spotify accounts connected at the same time?
No. Soundiiz keeps one active account per music service. Disconnect the first Spotify account before connecting the second one.
How many different accounts can I connect?
For a personal family-plan migration, you may connect up to six distinct accounts from the same music service. Only one can be connected at a time.
Can I transfer playlists and favorites between two accounts on the same service?
Yes. Use Soundiiz as a temporary bridge between the source and destination accounts. Follow the same-platform account transfer guide.
What happens to my Syncs when I disconnect an account?
Scheduled Syncs that use the disconnected service are disabled. Review them after reconnecting because they do not resume automatically.
