Current services that accept cover updates
The direct cover editor is enabled for:
Automatic cover copying
When a destination accepts playlist images, Soundiiz can try to copy the source cover during a transfer or clone. A Sync can also offer an update-picture option for compatible destinations.
Cover copying is best effort. It can be skipped when the source service does not return a usable image, when a local Plex image is not reachable from Soundiiz, or when the destination rejects the upload. The playlist transfer itself can still finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does changing a cover require Premium?
No. The direct Update Playlist Image action is currently available on every Soundiiz plan, including Free and Pass, when the provider supports it.
Why did the tracks transfer but not the cover?
Cover copy is optional and does not block the transfer. The source image may be inaccessible or the destination may have rejected it.
Can Soundiiz update TIDAL playlist covers?
Not currently. The Soundiiz capability returned for TIDAL does not allow cover writes.
Why does a Spotify cover look softer after transfer?
Spotify cover uploads are re-encoded to meet its image endpoint requirements, which can reduce visible quality.
